WEST HALMAHERA
(September 28, 2022) - President Joko Widodo
handed over assistance for Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI), PKH, BPNT, and BLT BBM in Gupasa Village, Jailolo District, West Halmahera Regency, North
Maluku Province.
Located at the
Gupasa Post Office, Joko Widodo symbolically handed over the aid. Assistance is
managed by the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security, the Directorate
General of Social Empowerment, and "Wasana Bahagia" Center in Ternate.
As for the Social
Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) from "Wasana Bahagia" Center in
Ternate in the form of meeting basic needs, nutrition, entrepreneurial assistance
in the form of laundry and sewing machines, assistive devices in the form of
standard wheelchairs and crutches which were symbolically handed over by the
President of the Republic of Indonesia, for Persons with Disabilities. for 5
PPKS (Social Welfare Service Recipients).
Secretary of the
Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Salahuddin, who was present
directly representing the Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Pepen
Nazaruddin, accompanied the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the
distribution of Social Aid. In its preparation, the Secretary of the
Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation coordinates and communicates with
the Leaders and Staff at the Gupasa Village Post Office regarding the number
and data of recipients of Social Assistance and ensures that those who attend
have received PKH, BPNT, and ATENSI Assistance.
Total ATENSI
Assistance worth IDR 22,581,900; PKH and BPNT assistance for 100 beneficiary
families worth IDR120,000,000.

Elderly with Disabilities who received ATENSI in the form of crutches and
nutrition thanked MoSA, “These crutches and nutrition were very useful for
daily activities, and hoped to get other assistance to help pay for their
children's school fees,” said Naser.

this working visit Acting Director of Social Rehabilitation for Disaster and
Emergency Victims, I Ketut Supena, Social Office of West Halmahera Regency, as
well as elements of Muspida & Muspika (Council of lower-level
government officials) of West Halmahera and other invitees.
