The Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Tri Rismaharini, has made a commitment to provide opportunities and support for people with disabilities. No less than 105 persons with disabilities were given space to show their potential in front of delegates of the High-level Intergovernmental Meeting on The Final Review of the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities (HLIGM APDPD) 2022 from 64 countries at a dinner in Jakarta, Thursday night (20/10).

The event, which was held in the courtyard of the Ministry of Social Affairs, featured various dances and music from various regions including Java, Bali and Sumatra. The agile movements of people with disabilities amazed the guests.

They are deaf, speech, intellectual, blind, physically disabled, People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) and People with Mental Problems (ODMK). However, their condition did not become a barrier to harmonize wiraga (movement), wirama (rhythm), wirasa (feeling), and wirupa (image).
