JAKARTA (10 November 2020) - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, has officially awarded the title of National Hero to six figures who are considered to have contributed to Indonesia. The award was based on Presidential Decree number 117 TK 2020 concerning the Awarding of the National Hero Title.

The figures who received the title of National Hero are the late Sultan Babullah from North Maluku Province; the late Mahmud Singgih Rey from West Papua; the late Police General retired, Said Soekanto Tjokrodiatmodjo from DKI Jakarta; the late Arnold Monolutu from North Sulawesi; the late Sutan Muhamad Amin Nasution from North Sumatra; the late Raden Raden Mattaher Bin Pangeran Kusen Bin Adi from Jambi.
