CIMAHI (August 10, 2022) - In commemoration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Abiyoso Center held a series of activities with the title "The 77th Republic of Indonesia's Lively Anniversary" starting on Wednesday (10/8/2022).
Taking place at the Abiyoso Center in Cimahi, the activity began by presenting fifty children from four kindergartens, 10 elementary schools, and two special schools in Cimahi City. They participated in coloring competitions, poetry reading competitions, various fun games, and storytelling or story telling. The theme of this activity is "Recover Together, Recover Stronger".
The series of activities to commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia this year is a collaboration between the Abiyoso Center and BUMN and the private sector and the community i.e Abiyoso Reader Community, PT Pos Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank BJB, and Hotel California. A number of parties were present, including from the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, as well as from the Technical Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Social Affairs located in Greater Bandung, namely Wyata Guna Center, Bandung Social Welfare Education and Training Center (BBPPKS), and Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic.
In his remarks, the Head of the Abiyoso Center, Agung Hendrawan, expressed his deepest gratitude to all participants and invited guests who were present, especially the children who were so enthusiastic about participating in this activity. On the same occasion, Agung also gave a surprise gifts for children who were able to answer questions correctly.
Also enlivening this activity was the performance of the band Studio Abiyoso 21 which entertained the audience from beginning to end. For those who haven't had the chance to come directly to the Abiyoso Center and don't want to miss the excitement of this event, you can watch it online via a live broadcast on the Studio Abiyoso 21 YouTube channel.
The excitement of the commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at the Abiyoso Center actually left a deep impression on the hearts of the participants. "If possible, this kind of activity will continue to be held every year so that there is a place to channel our children's talents," said Mrs. Yefi, an elementary school teacher who was present to accompany her students.
Meanwhile, one of the participants in the poetry reading competition, Asmiranti Nur Sabila from SDN Linggabudi said that she really enjoys reading poetry, but this is the first time she has dared to take part in a poetry competition. Apparently Asmiranti's efforts were not in vain. At the award ceremony for the winners of the competition, she was announced as the 2nd winner of the poetry reading competition. The heart of this little girl who aspires to be a successful entrepreneur is immeasurably happy.
Hopefully the spirit of Indonesian independence spread by the Abiyoso Center can be an encouragement for Indonesian children to continue to grow into strong and superior people for a more advanced Indonesia.
