Acknowledgments for the Minister of Social Affairs from the Medan "Insyaf" Center

DELI SERDANG (November 13, 2020) - Medan "Insyaf" Center received a working visit from the Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P Batubara and his staff with the Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Harry Hikmat. This visit was to see the facilities and infrastructure as well as the implementation of the Medan "Insyaf" ATENSI Center program.

The arrival of the Minister of Social Affairs was immediately welcomed with the Karo traditional dance which was performed by the beneficiaries who were participating in the ATENSI program. Furthermore, the Minister of Social Affairs together with the Director General of Social Rehabilitation and his staff accompanied by the Head of the Medan "Insyaf" Center toured the facilities and infrastructure as well as the ATENSI program carried out by the beneficiaries.

On this occasion, Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P Batubara also visited the vocational room for Barbersop and Graphic Design, while in the graphic design vocational room, Juliari P Batubara was willing to be a model for beneficiary photos to take, the attitude of the Minister of Social Affairs added to the confidence of the beneficiaries that we can work without drugs.

Furthermore, the Minister of Social Affairs and his staff saw the dormitory facilities, don't forget Juliari Batubara greeted and gave advice to the beneficiaries, he advised "Use the 6 months here as well as possible to change the wrong behaviors, focus your mind and heart here to recovery, don't let the youur mind wandering while physically, you are here, keep the spirit and remember never to come here again after the service is over, don't use illegal drugs again," said Juliari Batubara.

On the same occasion, Juliari Batubara greeted the beneficiary families who visited their children who were participating in the ATENSI program at the Medan "Insyaf" Center. The family, while crying happily, expressed their gratitude to the Minister of Social Affairs for giving their child the opportunity to participate in the Social Rehabilitation program.

"Look at how hard it is for your parents to cry because of your actions to abuse drugs. Never repeat it again, just be in the past, be responsible and do good to your wife and three children," said Juliari Batubara while giving advice.
