“Alyatama” Children Center is Present and Responds Quickly to Child Cases
JAMBI (July 14, 2020) - 10 people caught in raid by Satpol PP (Civil Service Police Unit) in one of hotel, some of them are still children. They are caught in raid on Monday at 12.00 WIB July 12, 2020. Those 10 people brought to Social Services Jambi city to get further treatment.
"Alyatama" BRSAMPK Jambi team consists of Lifyarman as a Head of Social Assessment and Advocacy Section, Sarah and Alita as Social Worker coming soon to Social Services of Jambi city after getting information from Apumhayati as a Head of Social Rehabilitation Section for elderly and children.
After the initial data collection and assessment is done, obtained 7 children and 3 adult. 2 of them are one family aged 15 and 16 years old. Based on assessment it is known that the children motives to be in the hotel. Their reason at the hotel is a factor from family, economy, and children's social environment.
“I will be waiting their parents to come here first and discuss together about the plan to refer these children to the center so that they can receive coaching,” said Rekan Budiman as the Head of Social Rehabilitation Social Service of Jambi City.
The seven children are still at Social Service of Jambi City, waiting for the coming of their parents. The plan is 5 from 7 children will be referred by the Social Service to the "Alyatama" Children's Center for further treatment.
