Anticipating Flood Disasters in Subang, Ministry of Social Affairs Forms Disaster Preparedness Villages (KSB)
The Ministry of Social Affairs has again formed a Disaster Preparedness Village (KSB) in Ciasem District, Subang Regency to anticipate natural disasters that frequently occur such as floods, landslides and earthquakes. (3/30)
In forming the KSB, the community carried out several series starting from socialization, forming groups/members, technical training, simulations and SOP trials to increase the community's knowledge and skills regarding risk reduction and disaster management.
The Ministry of Social Affairs also provided Disaster Preparedness and Management Assistance in Subang Regency amounting to Rp. 320,917,000,- which was handed over symbolically by the Secretary General also as Acting. It is hoped that with the formation and training of Disaster Preparedness Villages, the community will be able to carry out risk analysis of disasters and are expected to immediately take steps quickly and responsively.
