JAKARTA (July 19, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs' Technical Implementation Unit, "Melati" Center Jakarta, today again held Antigen Swabs for all Civil Servants, Non-Civil Servant Government Employees, Instructors, Employees of the Social Rehabilitation Service Unit for Children with Disabilities Disabilities (ULRSAPD), Beneficiaries (PM) and families of civil servants who live in the Center.

The implementation of antigen swabs was held after five new positive cases of COVID-19 based on the results of the antigen swab on Monday (5/7/2021) for 87 people in the Melati Center, Jakarta. 32 people have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 and have undergone procedures for handling COVID-19 patients by doing self-isolation at home, self-isolation shelters in the community hall, or being referred to the Kemayoran Athlete's House, Jakarta.

The Head of the Melati Center, Romal Uli Jaya Sinaga, reiterated the center's commitment to carrying out regular antigen swabs to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the Jakarta Melati Hall environment.

"Hopefully, the results of today's antigen swab will be good. We feel sorry because the Melati Center has many positive cases. Last week, we lost our best friend, the late Mr. Bambang Eko Lesmono, who passed away after struggling during his period of self-isolation. We hope that there will be no more sadness. Let's continue to look after each other, remind each other, and provide the best support because we are a family," said Romal.

59 people took the antigen swab today, consisting of 24 civil servants, 7 Non-State Civil Apparatus Government Employees, eight instructors, 7 ULRSAPD employees, 11 Melati Center beneficiaries, and two civil servant families.

Thankfully, based on today's antigen swab results, there were no new positive cases in the Melati Center. The center's medical officers urge that health protocols continue to be implemented in a disciplined manner by the entire Melati Center family.
