JAKARTA (7 July 2020) - Since the number of COVID-19 pandemic cases continues to increase in Indonesia, almost all sectors have been affected, including workers in the art industry. For this reason, the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin, represented by Tasks Executor of Director of Social Protection for Social Disaster Victims (PSKBS), Adi Wahyono, handed over 850 packages of basic food assistance to art workers at ABBE Music Studio, Gandaria, South Jakarta, Tuesday (7/7).
Symbolically, the basic food assistance was received directly by the Head of the Indonesian Heart Foundation, Andre Hehanusa, the Head of the Indonesian Humanitas Human Foundation (Hati) Disaster Task Force, Welly Veldi South and the Indonesian Road Manager (RMI), Aziz. In the midst of the handover, the art workers had expressed their concern about the lack of jobs because various art performances were temporarily suspended.
