BOGOR (January 21, 2021) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the "Ciungwanara" Disability Center in Bogor received a visit from the Marzuki Mahdi Mental Hospital (RSJ) Team on Thursday (21/01). This visit was chaired by the Head of the PKRS (Hospital Health Promotion) Installation, Ketut Sudiatmika, and was warmly welcomed by the Head of the "Ciungwanara" Disability Center, Siti Sari Rumayanti.

Ketut, who was accompanied by two of his staff, Iyep and Budi, conveyed that the purpose of his visit was to establish cooperation with "Ciungwanara" Center in terms of following up on handling clients after treatment from the RSJ.

"We hope that clients from the RSJ who experience dual disabilities, namely mental and intellectual after receiving treatment at the RSJ can continue to receive skills training (livelihood) at the "Ciungwanara" Center. This is a form of cross-sectoral collaboration, if people with intellectual disabilities in Ciungwanara also need treatment, they can get treatment. services at the RSJ if it is stated that there is a mental diagnosis," said Ketut.

In her speech, Sari explained that this is like a tit for tat where the synergy between these sectors is also the implementation of the Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program which is being run by the Center. Sari said, "Indeed, we are currently building a network of cooperation with government institutions and the community to synergize in the implementation of social rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities. Hopefully in the future we will be able to act with teams from the RSJ, social services and assistants."

Sari also emphasized that the forms of ATENSI services provided were family-based attention, community-based ATENSI, and residential-based ATENSI.
 
"We would like to thank RSJ Marzuki Mahdi for coming, then we can formulate a synergy of services for people with disabilities through a cooperation agreement between the "Ciungwanara" Disability Center and RSJ Marzuki Mahdi," said Sari closing the discussion.
