BATURRADEN (October 16, 2020) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through "Satria" Drug Abuse Victims' Social Rehabilitation Center (BRSKPN) "Satria" in Baturraden is increasing the Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) on drug in the school environment.

The activity which was held at the Baturraden Drug Information and Education Center (PIE) was attended by 37 people consisting of teachers and employees of SMPN 1 Kedungbanteng. Activities are packaged in the form of group dynamics that are full of information and education about the dangers and handling of victims of drug abuse. Starting from an initial screening simulation, education through videos and room tours, counseling techniques if you find students using drugs, early response techniques when finding cases of drug abuse, roleplay, and testing knowledge about drugs.

Ratmoko, as the Principal of SMPN 1 Kedungbanteng expressed his appreciation for this activity and plans to establish a memorandum of understanding with "Satria" Center in Baturraden.

"After looking directly at PIE, it turns out that there is a lot of information that can be obtained and inspires us to be adopted in schools. It is hoped that the function of the memorandum of understanding that will be signed can be maximized," said Ratmoko.

Sustamar Haendarti, as an intermediate social worker, said that "Satria" Center in Baturraden welcomed the plan and would forward it to the leadership.

"We thank you all for coming. Hopefully in the future we can contribute to preventing drug abuse in students and can help provide appropriate treatment," said Sustamar.

This activity is one of the efforts to expand the reach of social rehabilitation for drug abuse victims as well as to increase the participation of educators to create a drug-free young generation.
