BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Received a Working Visit from Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reforms

SURAKARTA (November 7, 2019) - Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Physical Disabilities (BBRSPDF) "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta, which is one of the UPTs of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Ministry of Social RI, received a team visit from the Ministry of Reform and Bureaucratic State Apparatus Empowerment. chaired by Naptalina Sipayung, Assistant Deputy for Policy Implementation and Evaluation of Bureaucratic Reform, Accountability of Officials and Regional Supervisors III.

The Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reforms team was accompanied by the Head of the Ministry of Social Affairs' Finance Bureau Mira Riyati Kurniasih and staff in order to evaluate the implementation of the Integrity Zone towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM).

During this visit, the Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reforms Team saw firsthand the advanced social rehabilitation process given to BBRSPDF Service Recipients "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta and had a dialogue with Service Recipients.

The visit was initiated to the Nursing and Revalidation Installation room to see physical therapy services through physiotherapy services as well as testimonials from Service Recipients who had undergone orthopedic surgery. Then the team visited the Prothese and Orthose Workshops and saw a demonstration of the Service Recipient using a prosthetic leg. The visit was continued to the skills room, Prof. Dr. Soeharso and the general publication room.

In her remarks in front of structural and functional officers, and also installation heads, Naptalina expressed her appreciation to BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta for the services that have been provided, especially for Persons with Physical Disabilities (PDF) sent by the local government or social services. "The benefits are extraordinary, this is what we mean the Integrity Zone towards WBK. We ask this directly to PDF, which initially could not sew, now they can sew, and some can even sew a shirt in half a day starting from making the pattern to completion. It’s amazing," said Naptalina.

Naptalina also advised the need for publication from Hall so that the services provided were better known by the public. And if later BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta gets the title of WBK, so that it can be maintained and even increased towards WBBM.
