Beneficiaries at Nipotowe Center Receive Gifts at 77th Indonesia Independence Day
SIGI (August 17, 2022) - Commemoration of the Independence Day of the
Republic of Indonesia is a happy day for all Indonesians in commemorating
independence which is usually marked by various competitions and ceremonies.
This year is the most anticipated moment because it is no longer done virtually
since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Taking place at Nipotowe Center Courtyard in
Palu, the commemoration of the 77th Indonesia Independence Day at Nipotowe
Center Palu, the technical implementation unit of MoSA, took place in wisdom
using traditional clothes from various regions, which was attended by all
employees and beneficiaries on Wednesday (August 17, 2022). The activity was
filled with singing the national anthem as well as giving prizes to the winners of
the competition which had been held for the previous two days.
"It's nice to get gifts, all my friends get
it," said Arie, a recipient of Nipotowe Center service.
The commemoration of the Indonesia Independence
Day at Nipotowe Center was also attended by Dharma Wanita Association Nipotowe Center,
employees, and all beneficiaries. The activity continued with friendly
activities and visited social institutions.
Nipotowe Center Palu also held a Nipotowe Fashion
Week competition, balloon popping contest, flour pass, song search, karaoke for
the national anthem, chess competition, water hitting, and tug of war starting
from August 15-16 yesterday at Nipotowe Center Palu. The activity was attended
by all employees and beneficiaries enthusiastically to attract the attention of
the outside community because it was held in the outer courtyard of Nipotowe
Center.
The beneficiaries at Nipotowe Center Palu are
the beneficiaries of the residential-based ATENSI program, which currently consists
of persons with disabilities, children against the law, the elderly, the poor, and persons with mental disabilities.
