BLBI "Abiyoso" Invites Students to Become Today's Heroes
CIMAHI (10 November 2019) - 10 November is celebrated every year by the Indonesian people as Heroes' Day, to commemorate the services of national heroes who have fought for the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
We as the nation's next generation must become today's heroes. How do you become a "Today's Hero"? One of them is by filling the days with various positive activities. Well, like the 6th graders of SDN 1 and 2 Leuwigajah, Cimahi Selatan Subdistrict, Cimahi City, who today fulfilled an invitation from the Indonesian Braille Literacy Center. (BLBI) "Abiyoso" as a Braille Literacy Tour Participant this Sunday while learning to know braille reading and writing guided by BLBI Officer "Abiyoso."
Participants of the Braille Literacy Tour who were accompanied by 2 teachers after carrying out the flag ceremony at the BLBI "Abiyoso", were then distributed goody bags and invited to gather at the "Whispering Cinema Room" which is in one of the rooms in the BLBI "Abiyoso" Office Building.
In the "Whispering Cinema" room, Head of BLBI "Abiyoso", Isep Sepriyan and his staff received Braille Literacy tour participants and thanked SDN 1 and 2 Leuwigajah, Cimahi Selatan Subdistrict who had attended to meet the invitation, on this occasion, Isep also provided brief information about profile, duties and functions of BLBI "Abiyoso" as one of the Technical Implementation Units (UPT) of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, whose task is to manage braille literacy in Indonesia.
Furthermore, the BLBI "Abiyoso" team guided the screening of the nation's hero film and ended with learning together how to read and write braille and the tour activity was closed with a group photo.
