BLBI "Abiyoso" Synergizes with WQA Indonesia

CIMAHI (November 4, 2019) - The Indonesian WQA (Worldwide Quality Assurance) Auditor Team, Indra and Toni attended the Indonesian Braille Literacy Center (BLBI) "Abiyoso" to conduct a management audit of the implementation of BLBI "Abiyoso" duties and functions in managing, national referral and braille literacy laboratory. At the open meeting the Head of BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi, Isep Sepriyan, said welcome to Cimahi and thanked the WQA Team for attending to the invitation of the BLBI "Abiyoso".

Isep also delivered a brief profile of the institution and introduced the structural officials who attended this event, namely the Head of the Administration Subdivision, the Head of the Mapping and Braille Literacy Method Section, the Head of the Section for Material Provision and Utilization of Braille Literacy, the Head of the Technical Guidance and Braille Literacy Service Section and the Head of Section Cooperation and Evaluation.

Furthermore, Isep handed over to the WQA Team as a facilitator of management audit activities for BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi so that as a public service institution belonging to the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, the Ministry of Social RI is eligible for ISO 9001: 2015 certification in its service management process to the community.

During the open meeting, Indra thanked BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi for giving trust to WQA to provide assistance in order to improve the performance of BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi.

Toni also explained that after this open meeting, the event would be continued with a document audit on business processes in Abiyoso which would be carried out by dividing the two sub-section and section groups. Group 1 will be audited by Indra, while group 2 will be audited by Toni.

After finishing the audit, the event ended with a limited meeting. In a limited meeting, Indra delivered the results of the audit evaluation, then WQA Indonesia will recommend BLBI "Abiyoso" to obtain ISO 9001: 2015 which will be forwarded to WQA Pusat in Great Britain.
