BLBI "Abiyoso" Visited by ITS Surabaya Lecturers
CIMAHI (6 November 2019) - Lecturers of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, Hendra Kusuma, and Tasripan visited the Indonesian Braille Literacy Center (BLBI) "Abiyoso" in Cimahi.
Head of BLBI "Abiyoso" Isep Sepriyan, accompanied by structural ranks, said welcome and thanks to ITS Surabaya for making a return visit to BLBI "Abiyoso" in order to follow up on the cooperation plan between BLBI "Abiyoso" and ITS Surabaya in terms of managing braille printers to improve the production of Braille Books at BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi.
At the time of acceptance, Hendra conveyed several cooperation options that could be carried out with BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi, especially in the management of braille printers regarding technicians, operators, software and operational hardware for braille printers, the result of ITS Surabaya research.
The event continued with a review of the Braille Book Production Room and a simulation of using a Motherboard from the research results of the ITS Surabaya Electronics Faculty on one of the printers belonging to the BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi by Hendra and Tasripin which was witnessed by technicians and BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi braille printer operators.
