Both the House and Humans are Built | RS-RTLH Central Mamuju Regency
One of the programs from the Ministry of Social Affairs is the Social Rehabilitation of Uninhabitable Houses (RS-RTLH), where housing repair assistance is given to underprivileged communities whose houses are not suitable for habitation. One of the areas that received the RS-RTLH was Babana Village, Central Mamuju Regency. A total of 25 houses were renovated thanks to this program.
What's interesting about the RS-RTLH program is that besides getting their houses repaired, the community also gets an empowerment program to increase their economic income. The residents of Babana Village find it helpful because they are able to start a variety of businesses, ranging from selling fried foods, opening basic food stalls, to making copra.
