BRSAMPK "Handayani" Organized Technical Guidance for LKSA Officers
BOGOR (13 November 2019) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto, opened a Technical Guidance Activity for Child Welfare Institutions (LKSA) Officers organized by the Social Rehabilitation Center for Children who need Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Handayani" at Swiss Bellhotel Bogor.
The head of BRSAMPK “Handayani” Jakarta Neneng Heryani, as the organizer of the activity in his report said that this activity was initiated to provide information and increase the capacity of LKSA officers in using child social rehabilitation assistance funds, so that the Assistance Program can be right on target. The assistance is used to implement components of social care, family support, and therapy. It is expected that LKSA can implement these three components.
"The distribution of children's social rehabilitation assistance is the first time through the center this year, so we must play an active role in providing information and socialization to LKSA officers," said Neneng.
Meanwhile, the Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto, expressed his appreciation to LKSA which has been a partner of the Ministry of Social Affairs so far. Edi also asked LKSA to actively participate in collecting data through SIKS NG because recipients of social rehabilitation assistance must be registered in the integrated social welfare data.
Edi also explained the 5.0 NP Progress policy in front of the attendees. "The goal of Progress 5.0 NP is capability and social responsibility. So, the components of the assistance provided are no longer basic necessities and the like. But there are three elements, namely family support, social care, and therapy, ”explained Edi.
On this occasion, Edi also explained that each program must have a measuring instrument so that it can be seen how the impact or benefits of the program provided.
"In Progress 5.0 NP, what is measured is the social functioning of the aid recipients. As in BRSAMPK "Handayani", for example, children exposed to radicalism were measured by the level of their radicalism. After six months it was measured again. So we can see the changes, "said Edi.
This Technical Guidance activity was carried out for the next three days, followed by 35 participants consisting of elements from the Provincial Social Service, LKSA Representatives, Social Worker Service Unit Supervisors, and Social Worker Service Unit.
