BRSAMPK "Paramita" Increases Public Knowledge of HIV / AIDS
WEST LOMBOK (12 November 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for Children who need Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Paramita" Mataram received the attention of the VCT Team (Voluntary Counseling and Testing) Mutiara Sukma Mental Hospital to carry out a national program of HIV Promotion, Examination and Prevention and Treatment .
The head of BRSAMPK "Paramita" Mataram, Ahmad Subarkah, welcomed this activity. In his remarks, Subarkah said that this activity was very important for BRSAMPK "Paramita" Mataram, especially for employees, where the issue of HIV / AIDS is one of the main problems that are the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Affairs, so that all employees must be equipped with knowledge about it.
Subarkah also expressed his hope that this activity could create an embryo of collaboration between BRSAMPK "Paramita" Mataram and the Mutiara Sukma Mental Hospital (RSJ). The activity was continued with a blood test to find out if anyone had HIV / AIDS in the BRSAMPK "Paramita" Mataram environment.
This activity aims to provide knowledge about the impact of irresponsible sexual behavior, how HIV / AIDS is transmitted, its impact on the body and its prevention. The activity was closed by conducting an HIV / AIDS test for the male / female PM as well as all employees.
