BRSPDF "Wirajaya" Distributes Persons with Physical Disability to Join Work Learning Practices (PBK)
MAKASSAR (November 4, 2019) - As many as 21 people with physical disabilities have participated in the Job Learning Practice (PBK) program at a number of companies in Makassar City. This program is an activity specifically for persons with physical disabilities (Service Recipients) who receive Social Rehabilitation services in the “Wirajaya” Makassar Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Physical Disabilities (BRSPDF)
Before being distributed to several companies, Service Recipients received direct referrals from the Head of BRSPDF “Wirajaya” Makassar, Syaiful Samad. When giving directions, Syaiful emphasized more on the PBK participants to seriously participate in the PBK activities which are planned to be held for a month, from 4 November to 5 December 2019.
Syaiful even considered that the PBB program was a forum for children with disabilities to know more about the real world of work.
"A lot of knowledge and work experience will be gained during your participation in this PBK, so it takes seriousness to get lessons that can increase my children's work skills," said Syaiful.
A total of 21 Service Recipients were distributed in several companies according to the types of skills acquired at BRSPDF "Wirajaya" Makassar ".
"This year, the children are also deployed to several companies related to the types of skills taught at the Balai," said M.Dawam as committee of the PBK activities.
These include companies related to automotive skills, tailoring, printing, furniture, electronics, make-up and photography.
