BRSPDM "Phala Martha" Case Response and the PDM Crisis Intervention
GARUT (October, 22 2019) - Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia through the Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Mental Disabilities (BRSPDM) "Phala Martha" Sukabumi organizes case response and intervention of Mental disability crisis (PDM) in Garut Regency.
In line with disability progress that makes Balai as the Case Response and Crisis Intervention Center, together with a team of mental illness Dr. Marzoeki Mahdi (RSMM) Bogor synergize in the process of evacuation, education, and mental health services.
The first activity is the handover of patients who have been treated in RSMM Bogor held in Kecamatan Cilawu. Further evacuation and mental health services are carried out at the Atma Soul Clinic in Karangpawitan district. This activity is in line with the program of Garut District government that proclaimed Garut free from stocks Regency year 2019.
BRSPDM "Phala Martha" Sukabumi provides education to family and society regarding the mentoring and care of post-medical services. This is an important element for the proper handling of the PDM to be standardized and measured.
The activities held on 21-22 October 2019 was attended by various elements namely social service, Office of Health, Sub-district, police, Koramil, village government, TKSK, community participation, disability, and also forum and community who have attention to social problems in Garut Regency. Participate in this activity students in the introduction Poltekesos Bandung.
As a follow up, Balai will continue to work with the
Department and related parties to provide the services of further social
rehabilitation to the PDM who meet the criteria of the rehabilitation Program
services in BRSPDM "Phala Martha".
