BRSPDSN Service Recipient "Tumou Tou" Performs Recreational Group
MANADO (October 31, 2019) - Recipient of Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Visual Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) "Tumou Tou" Manado participated in the activities of the Recreational Group at Adventure Park Nature House, Manado.
The activity which aims to increase the confidence of Service Recipients is attended by eight Service Recipients, Social Workers and Physical and Skills Facilitators. Service recipients are invited to dare to ride various existing rides such as high ropes, ATVs, water rides and flying fox.
One of the Service Recipients from Bitung, LR (32) stated that the flying fox activity was the first activity in his life. " Kita so nyandak takut lagi mo naek flying fox deng high rope, ternyata torang Tuna Netra boleh hidup seperti orang laeng (I am not afraid to ride flying fox and high rope, it turns out that people with visual disabilities like us can also be like other people in general.). "he said.
Kamsiaty Rotty as the Head of the Center said that the group's recreational activities are routine activities for Service Recipients.
"This recreational group is a form of therapy for service recipients so that their social capabilities can increase before returning to society," he added.
