BRSPDSN "Tan Miyat" Hands Over 75 PDSN Aid Packages
BANDA ACEH (September 19, 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Visual Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) "Tan Miyat" Bekasi handed over 75 social assistance packages out of a total of 169 packages in the form of assistive devices for people with visual sensory disabilities in Aceh Province. The assistance, which was delivered directly by the Head of BRSPDSN "Tan Miyat" Bekasi, Iriani Rahayuningsiwi, was received by the Head of Social Rehabilitation for the Aceh Provincial Social Service.
Assistance provided based on the results of the assessment of disability facilitators in seven districts / cities in Aceh Province was proposed by the Aceh Provincial Social Service in the form of a proposal to submit aids to the BRSPDSN "Tan Miyat" Bekasi. The incoming proposals are examined, synchronized with data in the Disability Information System (SIMPD) application and verified directly by Balai officials.
This aid package will then be handed over to people with visual sensory disabilities spread across seven districts / cities namely Banda Aceh City, Pidie Regency, East Aceh Regency, North Aceh Regency, South Aceh Regency, Simeulue Regency, and Lhokseumawe City.
Furthermore, the assistance of these aids will also be provided in the provinces of Riau Islands and West Sumatra.
