BRSPDSN "Tumou Tou" Holds Guidance for Strengthening Human Resources
MANADO (8 November 2019) - The "Tumou Tou" Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Visual Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) in Manado held Technical Guidance for Social Welfare Institution (LKS) officers who organized Basic Social Rehabilitation for People with Visual Sensory Disabilities (PDSN) at Hotel Sutanraja Manado.
This activity took place on 6-8 November 2019. Participants in the activity were the LKS Administrators and Instructors for Basic Social Rehabilitation for PDSN in the BRSPDSN "Tumou Tou" working area.
Kamsiaty Rotty, as the Head of the Center, stated that the aim of this activity was to improve the capacity of officers and instructors in handling PDSN in their respective LKS.
On this occasion, participants were invited to explore various materials that are very useful in handling PDSN such as mobility orientation, braille reading and writing, and daily activities of persons with disabilities (ADL).
One of the participants in the activity, Pastor Sem Rentuwene from the Neutra Bartholomeus Manado Home, said that this activity was very useful in handling PDSN.
"We administrators of LKS PD Netra are very grateful to the Ministry of Social Affairs, because they have organized this technical guidance, so that we can carry out Basic Social Rehabilitation optimally in our LKS," he added.
