BANDUNG (12 September 2020) - Ministry of Social Affairs through the Center for Social Rehabilitation of Persons with Visual Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) “Wyata Guna” Bandung, HADIR presents to distribute 475 packages of Independence Social Assistance (Bansos) for Phase I in the form of Cash Transfers worth Rp. 2 million to Persons with Blind Sensory Disabilities (PDSN).
The mechanism for distributing social assistance for independence, namely, PDSN submits an application to the Social Rehabilitation Center “Wyata Guna” Bandung with the knowledge of the Regency/City Social Service then the Balai conducts verification and validation.
After going through data validation and verification, PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) tbk will create an account in the name of the recipient of the social assistance to then transfer money in the amount of Rp. 2 million to each recipient of the social assistance. The assistance is a collaboration with PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk.
Accompanied by Facilitator for Persons with Disabilities (PPD) with supervision from the local Regency/City/Provincial Social Service, the PDSN recipient of the social assistance must spend the money into a social assistance package that has been determined by the Wyata Guna Center.
The social assistance packages are in the form of klontongan stalls, massage beds, cellphones and coffee shops, and are spread in 10 provinces, namely Lampung, Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, West Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, and the Province of East Kalimantan.
The mechanism for distributing social assistance for independence, namely, BRSPDSN "Wyata Guna" Bandung provides information to the District/City Social Service in the 10 provinces above and the Organization of Persons with Disabilities then the Social Service will collect data, then PDSN submits an application which is sent to the Bandung "Wyata Guna" Hall with the knowledge that The District/City Social Service Office then conducts verification and validation.
After going through data validation and verification, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk will create an account in the name of the social assistance recipient to then transfer money in the amount of IDR 2 million to each recipient of the social assistance.
Muhammad Taufik, a PDSN from Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan, who received the social assistance package expressed his gratitude. “Alhamdulillah, the first day of opening a grocery shop, he got a turnover of Rp. 125 thousand and on the second day it increased to Rp. 400 thousand, thank you Balai Wyata Guna," said Jumari.
Next Mr. Muhammad Taufik, PDSN from Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan, who received the same social assistance package, felt grateful "Alhamdulillah, yesterday we increased the sale of eggs because many people are looking for these, and today they have run out, want to add more stock", he said.
Meanwhile, Saturday, September 12, 2020, at GSG Labuhan Jukung, the Regent of Pesisir Barat Lampung, Agus Istiglal, on his opportunity to hand over the "Wyata Guna" independent social assistance for 15 PDSN people, stated that this assistance must be managed properly, so that they are able to support themselves and their family.
Meanwhile in a separate place, the Head of the West Coast Social Service, Agus Triyadi, said that “this assistance goes through a proposal process, verification, which involves various parties as a form of concern for the "Wyata Guna" Center for PDSN Independence in Lampung province. This success is the success of the "Wyata Guna" Center which was able to implement the Social Rehabilitation Assistance Program (ATENSI) of the Ministry of Social Affairs, said Sudarsono, Head of the "Wyata Guna" Center.
