JAKARTA (October 25, 2019) - Head of Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Deaf and Mute Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSRW) "Melati" Jakarta, Pujiyanto accompanied by BRSPDSRW Structural Officer "Melati" received and welcomed the arrival of guests from PT. Astra Internasional Tbk through the Management Trainee (MT) Graduate Program.

The purpose of the visit was to hold a Digital Marketing Workshop as a manifestation of the Astra Workshop Program. The activity with the motto "Friends of Disability Astra" aims to provide insights on how to do business online well, especially for people with hearing impaired speech.

The workshop was officially opened by Pujiyanto as the Head of BRSPDSRW "Melati". In his remarks, Pujiyanto thanked PT. Astra International Tbk., Especially the MT participants who initiated this activity and also the speakers at the workshop.

"Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge about Digital Marketing). This is very important for them in marketing products from our Balai and certainly is a valuable experience because it can be directly involved in the application of Digital Marketing," said Pujiyanto.

All the Social Welfare Services Government (PPKS) and Accompany from BRSPDSRW "Melati" participated in this workshop activity which was filled with material presentation by Wildan Lazuardi as Manager of Atta Halilintar Habit.

This activity was even more lively with the holding of the "Early Stage of Online Business" competition by each group that had been previously divided. This competition examines the ingenuity of the group in marketing a product by the Government of the Social Welfare Services (PPKS) in BRSPDSRW "Melati" such as food, pottery, wallets, and totebag.

It starts with making a product name, giving a description, taking a photo of the product, and marketing it both on social media and market places like Tokopedia. Assessment is carried out directly by the organizing committee via Instagram @larutiproduction with certain criteria. The winners of the competition are the "Duck" group with the "Helbak" product, which is an ashtray made of ceramic with a unique shape.

In his closing remarks, Pujiyanto expressed his appreciation to PT. Astra Internasional Tbk for the holding of this activity which motivates PPKS to keep the spirit of achieving the future, one of which is by opening an online business.
