BEKASI (November 10, 2020) - "Budhi Dharma" Elderly Social Rehabilitation Center (BRSLU) in Bekasi took part in the 2020 Heroes Day Commemoration Ceremony via virtual streaming.
Wearing National Hero clothing, the Head of "Budhi Dharma" Center, Pujiyanto and all employees working from the Office (WFO) solemnly attended the ceremony via virtual streaming at the Bekasi "Budhi Dharma" Elderly Center and at their respective residences for employees who worked from Home (WFH). The National Pilgrimage Ceremony was led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo as the ceremony inspector at the Kalibata Main National Heroes Cemetery Park (TMPN), South Jakarta.
Given that it is still in the atmosphere of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony will still follow the applicable health protocols.
In a message on Heroes' Day 2020, the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P Batubara stated that "What the heroes have done may inspire and motivate all of us to continue their struggle. In the past we fought by taking up arms, now we are fighting against various national problems, such as poverty, natural disasters, drugs, radical understanding and including fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic that is currently hit the world.”
The theme of Heroes' Day 2020 'My Heroes of All Time' is expected to be a momentum for the Indonesian people to jointly strengthen unity and integrity with a positive contribution to the progress of the Indonesian nation.
