JAKARTA (September 12, 2019) - The follow up of the collaboration between the Directorate of Social Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs with PT. Burger King Indonesia, is implemented through the recruitment of employees from the Beneficiaries of the Rehabilitation Institute for the Disability of People with Hearing and Speech Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSRW) "Melati" Jakarta.

The recruitment process was carried out in the Multipurpose Hall of BRSPDSRW "Melati" Jakarta and was participated by 54 regular Benficiaries and alumni.

HRD Burger King's General Manager, Frida Marpaung, took the time to jump in to see the recruitment process. In her remarks, Frida emphasized the company's commitment to employing friends with hearing impaired sensory disabilities.

"80% of our employees at one of our outlets at Sunset Road Bali consists of people with hearing and speech disabilities. In the future Burger King will project a minimum number of two employees with disabilities in all outlets where 140 outlets are already operating in all provinces in Indonesia," he explained.

Representing BRSPDSRW "Melati" Jakarta, the Head of Social Rehabilitation Services, Romal Sinaga, expressed his gratitude to Burger King for the opportunity given to beneficiaries to become company employees.
