Carrying out ATENSI for Victims of Drug Abuse, "Galih Pakuan" Center in Bogor Collaborates with 78 IPWL
BOGOR
(6 July 2021) - Following up on the
Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program, the Ministry of Social
Affairs through “Galih Pakuan” Social Rehabilitation Center in Bogor socialized
the mechanism for implementing ATENSI for victims of drug abuse.
“Galih Pakuan” collaborates with 78
Institutions Recipient of Mandatory Reporting (IPWL) spread across 13 provinces
in Indonesia, this activity is carried out virtually and involves the
Directorate of Social Rehabilitation of Drug Abuse Victims (RSKPN).
Director of RSKPN, Victorius Siahaan said that
IPWL is a strategic partner for the Center in the implementation of ATENSI. The
Center and IPWL together have a role as a companion and controller in the use
of assistance intended for beneficiaries (PM).
In addition, Victor also highlighted the
importance of skills training for PMs at IPWL.
"One of the factors that IPWL must pay
attention to is to provide varied skills according to PM's interests and
talents and are contemporary," said Victor.
In line with this, Head of Galih Pakuan Bogor,
Hendra Permana, welcomed IPWL's enthusiasm in collaborating with the Center.
"We are committed to accelerating the
steps for implementing the collaboration between the Center and IPWL so that
the ATENSI program can be enjoyed in all areas covered by Galih Pakuan Center,"
said Hendra.
This meeting also discussed the proposed
ATENSI service proposal from IPWL which was submitted to the Center and
continued with interactive dialogue.
In the future, the Center continues to coordinate with IPWL to oversee the ATENSI program for victims of drug abuse.
