JAKARTA (May 18, 2020) - Ministry of Social Affairs continues to spread social solidarity value to the people affected by COVID-19. Today, Ministry of Social Affairs through Pundi Rakyat Foundation distributes 250 packages of basic food assistance, the funds of which come from domestic grants.
The social services were distributed to laborers, janitor, online motorcycle taxi drivers, mosque marbots, security guards, honorary teachers, and Qur’an teachers in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
The assistance which was distributed as much as Rp. 200,000 / package, consist of rice, instants noodles, cooking oil, milk, tea, wheat flour, canned sardines, canned meat, granulated sugar, salt, and chili sachets.
The event was attended by Ani Susanti (Head of Resources Capacity Section), Faizah (Head of Institutional Capacity Section) of the Directorate Individual, Family, and Public Institution, Yadi Cahyadi (Chair of the Pundi Rakyat Foundation), and Mariah (Head of Social Welfare Section of Serdang Village).
