BEKASI (June 20th 2020) - Bekasi "Pangudi Luhur" Center collaborates with Wulings Motor and Cortezian Indonesia in handling displaced people affected by Covid-19. A total of 1000 non-medical masks and 100 basic food packages were handed over through the Wulings Motor's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. With the theme "With Wulings Motor Against Corona", the handover was held in the hallway of the office building which was attended by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Wulings Motor, Cortezian Indonesia and representatives of the service government.

Director of Social Rehabilitation for Persons with Social Deviance Issues and Human Trafficking Victims, Waskito Budi Kusumo received the assistance accompanied by the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Social Rehabilitation of Homeless and Beggars, the Head of the Center and the Head of the Sub Division of Personnel, the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation.

"I am very grateful and appreciate this. Because it is true that we, both from the government and the business world, must work together in alleviating problems. We as a source system must be present in the midst of society, especially in a pandemic like today," said Budi.

Head of the Sub-Directorate for Social Rehabilitation of Homeless and Beggars, Cecep Sutriaman, added that when people cannot access the necessary source system, we must be present to pick them up. So we need to be more proactive and increase our sensitivity to the surroundings.

Marketing Communication Site General Wulings Motor, Brian Gomgom said that starting this June, Wulings expanded his reach to partner with various agencies in implementing various CSR programs. Also collaborating with Cortezian Indonesia as a community of product users from Wulings Motor.

Chairman of the Indonesian Cortezian Division, Teddy Ichsan hopes that this activity can be a trigger for other car communities to participate in social activities.

This assistance will then be submitted to the service government in the center and community. "Our service government is not only here, but there are also those outside such as the community of scavengers and street singers. We distribute them through our partners, namely various Social Welfare Institutions (LKS) that handle homeless people and beggars," said Kokom.
