SURAKARTA (June 9, 2023) - The Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini gave directions on the Inter-Professional Collaborative Social Rehabilitation Training activities for Handling Children with Disabilities, which took place in the Hall of the Prof. Integrated Sentra Center. Dr. Soeharso Surakarta, Friday (9/6).

This training activity took place from 6 June to 12 June 2023, aiming to support one of the main components of direct social rehabilitation services related to meeting the needs of persons with disabilities, namely physical therapy, psychosocial therapy, and mental-spiritual therapy. This training was held in collaboration with the Center for Education and Training and Professional Development (Pusdiklatbangprof) and the Prof. Integrated Center. Dr. Soeharso Surakarta. This collaborative training invited resource persons/facilitators from the Poltekes of the Ministry of Health Solo, the Poltekes of the Ministry of Health Jakarta, Orthopedic Hospital “Prof. Dr. Soeharso” Surakarta, Directorate of Social Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic, Semarang Soegijapranata Unika, and Jakarta Private Physiotherapy Clinic. A total of 104 participants from the Social Rehabilitation Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Ministry of Social Affairs throughout Indonesia attended this training, namely 31 Heads of UPT Rehsos, 31 Social Workers, and 42 Therapists and Physiotherapists.

Also present were Director General of Social Rehabilitation Pepen Nazaruddin, Head of Pusdiklatbangprof Afrizon Tanjung, Director of Social Rehabilitation for Disaster and Emergency Victims Rachmat Koesnadi, Plt. Director of Social Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities Nursyamsu and Heads of UPT Integrated Centers/Centers throughout Indonesia.
