Commemorating World AIDS Day, LRSODH "Kahuripan" Distributes Nutritional Aid
SUKABUMI (December 1, 2020) - In commemoration of World AIDS Day (HAS), the Technical Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Social Affairs "Kahuripan" Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with HIV (ODH) in Sukabumi held an activity using the national theme "Global Solidarity of Shared Responsibility". The activity was attended by all Kahuripan employees, as well as several Ex-Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS), and Social Welfare Institution (LKS) representatives, namely LKS Sinar Sukabumi.
Dede Khaerufirdaos revealed that the HAS commemoration this time was focused on internal activities with the aim of prioritizing the distribution of assistance to people living with HIV in need and building solidarity and collaboration in dealing with HIV problems.
On this occasion "Kahuripan" Center distributed nutritional social assistance of IDR 50 million to 25 people with HIV represented by LKS Sinar Sukabumi. The nutritional social assistance was distributed to several areas namely Sukabumi, Tegal, Kab. Semarang, Banyuwangi and Bali.
It is hoped that with this activity, the "Kahuripan" workshop and LKS can play a synergistic role in the success of HIV control. An increase in solidarity between the two in the form of providing information, social rehabilitation services can certainly increase hope for people affected by HIV.
