JAKARTA (September 5, 2019) - Representing Minister of Social Affairs Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs Hartono Laras received a plaque from the President of the International Lions Club Mr. Jun Yul Choi, at the Lions Club Indonesia's 50th Anniversary Celebration, in Jakarta, Thursday (05/09/2019).

The plaque contains pictures of the winners of the Peace Poster Contest, a drawing event for children aged 10-13 years, with the theme of peace being held by the Lions Club every year around the world.

The peak celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Lions Club Indonesia, at the same time, was the venue for the ANZI (Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia) Forum 2019 meeting, which took place on 5-8 September 2019, in Jakarta.

Besides Mr. Choi and the leader of Lions Club Indonesia, the event was also attended by Jakarta MRT Construction Director Sylvia Halim as one of the speakers.
