Commission VIII DPR RI Ensures Government's Preparedness for Disasters

Commission VIII of the DPR RI conducted a Specific Working Visit with the Ministry of Social Affairs and related institutions to discuss disaster management in North Sumatra Province.

During the visit, Commission VIII of the DPR RI wanted to ensure the readiness of local governments in dealing with disasters, "As we know, currently, some areas are experiencing extreme weather due to La Nina and it will affect rainfall. In fact, in certain areas in North Sumatra , there are floods and landslides," said Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII DPR RI, TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, in Medan, Wednesday (10/11).
