Commission VIII DPR RI Visits Semeru Eruption Victims

Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) carried out a Working Visit to the location of the Mount Semeru Eruption Disaster in Lumajang Regency accompanied by the Regent of Lumajang, Thoriqul Haq and Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security, Robben Rico, Friday (10/12).

On this occasion, the Chairman of Commission VIII of the DPR RI, Yandri Susanto and members of Commission VIII directly checked the conditions of the refugee camps, public kitchens, health posts and Psychosocial Support Services (LDP) at the Field Post of Penanggal Village, Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency.

After that, the Ministry of Social Affairs also handed over assistance in the form of 1,000 basic food packages worth Rp200 million for residents affected by the Mount Semeru Eruption.
