Creating Superior Human Resources in the Social Protection and Rehabilitation System

BOGOR (October 2, 2019) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto said that efforts to protect, fulfill rights and welfare for Children with Special Needs (ABH) in the Child Criminal Justice System (SPPA) are carried out by applying mechanisms oriented towards resolution through a justice approach restorative / recovery and mandatory diversion efforts in each stage of juvenile justice.
This was conveyed by Edi Suharto when opening and giving direction to the Capacity Building Activities of the Human Partner Institutions in Confronting the Law (ABH) on 2-5 October at the Arch Hotel Bogor.
Capacity Building for ABH Partner Organizations is organized by the Directorate of Child Social Rehabilitation as a strategic step in realizing superior human resources in the management of the Social Protection and Rehabilitation System for Children in Conflict with Law (ABH).
"Strengthening the capacity of human resources is particular concern with regard to the increasing quantity and quality of ABH problems. Fast and accurate responses to the ABH case will be able to protect children, and minimize violations of children's rights," said Edi Suharto.
The activity was attended by 73 representative participants from officers/assistants of the Social Protection House (RPS) / PRSABHBM / LPKS ABH, Secretariat of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation and Directorate of Child Social Rehabilitation.
