PARIGI (September 30, 2020) - The Entrepreneurship Development Program through Community-Based Social Rehabilitation (RSBM) has been running for 2 months. The program is part of the ATENSI Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities "Nipotowe" Palu. A total of 45 beneficiaries who participated in the activity have received training and assistance in entrepreneurship.


The Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia through the "Nipotowe" Center provides entrepreneurial assistance to people with intellectual disabilities in Parigi. The results of the culinary vocational training from the beneficiaries were packaged very neatly and attractively. The monitoring and evaluation officer from the Center who went to the field directly inspected the products of the beneficiaries.


"The potential and talents of children must be developed in order to increase the business at home. This is a rare opportunity so it must be used properly. Keep learning and keep the spirit." said Aladin, Head of the "Nipotowe" Center while carrying out monitoring.


Beneficiaries who take part in the activities have been selected based on their potential and family/community environment. Especially for families with disabilities who involve beneficiaries in entrepreneurship. This potential is utilized by the Center in increasing the businesses of people with intellectual disabilities, especially during this pandemic. As an entrepreneur, you must be able to be creative and active in the manufacture and marketing of products. Therefore, the products made are packaged in such a way with unique processed flavors.
