DG of Social Rehabilitation Arranges Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Regulation Draft for Child Care
BOGOR (September 26, 2019) - Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation Idit Supriadi Priatna opened as well as giving direction in the preparation of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Regulation (Permensos) Draft for Implementation of Government Regulation Number 44 of 2019 concerning Implementation of Childcare at Permata Hotel Bogor, West Java.
The urgency of the Permensos on the Implementation of Childcare in protecting children needs to be carried out as early as possible from the time the child is in the womb until the age of 18, which is the responsibility of parents, family, government and society.
"Hopefully this Permensos will become a reference and guide for implementing social welfare, guideline for compiling regional institutions, facilitate program planning, clarify the reporting and monitoring and evaluation implementation and improve the quality and quantity of social rehabilitation implementation coverage both inside and outside the institution," Idit said.
The activity was held for three days and was attended by 35 participants representing the Legal Bureau, SOS Indonesia, UNICEF, Muhammadiyah University Jakarta, Muhammadiyah Central Leadership, Social Service of DKI Jakarta Province, Social Service of Bogor City, OHH Badiklit, OHH Dayasos, UHH PFM, Directorate of Children and OHH Setditjen Rehsos.
