Director General of Social Affairs Reviews the Installation of B.J Habibie Gravestone
JAKARTA (September 21,
2019) - A week ago, the 3rd President of Indonesia, BJ Habibie, was buried in
the Main National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU) in Kalibata and the tomb of BJ
Habibie located on block M 120 which is next to the grave of his beloved wife
Ainun Habibie. The Ministry of Social Affairs which is responsible for the
maintenance of Main National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU) have installed B.J Habibie
gravestone.
The Director General of
Social Empowerment, Pepen Nazaruddin, who was seen while visiting the tomb of
the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia, said that he wanted to see the
installation of the gravestone and pray directly in front of the tomb of B.J
Habibie.
"I deliberately came
here to see the installation of gravestone at once while praying for him. The
last time I came here was the night of the funeral preparations and the next
day when the funeral was underway," Pepen said.
Furthermore, continued
Pepen, B.J Habibie is a figure who is loved by the people. This can be seen
from the great enthusiasm of the people who came to Kalibata Main National Heroes
Cemetery (TMPNU) to witness his funeral.
"There are even
people who come from outside Jakarta to come to see his grave and pray for
him," Pepen said.
Pepen said that it was
not only the grave of the late B.J Habibie that was carried out in the
arrangement, but all the tombs in Kalibata were arranged and maintained.
