Director General of Social Rehabilitation Expects Dimensions of Progress 5.0 New Platform Included in Ministry Work Plan and Budget (RKA-K/L)
BEKASI (October 7th, 2019) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Edi Suharto, was attended at the drafting of Ministry Work Plan and Budget (RKA-K /L) and Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) in Social Rehabilitation Directorate and Victims of Human Trafficking (RSTS and KPO) for 2020 Fiscal Year.
Edi stated that at this meeting it was important to equalize and strengthen the vision, perception and re-understanding in carrying out further social rehabilitation in the TS and KPO Social Rehabilitation Program cluster (TS and KPO Progress). RSTS and KPO must start focusing clustering. Furthermore, making the naming of programs that are not stigmatized such as Prostitutes (WTS), Homeless and Beggars (Gepeng), can be replaced with other better terms.
"I believe this meeting can increase insight and knowledge, especially in compiling program activities as outlined in the RKA-K /L in accordance with the dimensions of the TS and KPO Progress. Especially in the handling of the Social Welfare Services (PMKS) for prostitutes and human trafficking victims, "concluded Edi Suharto.
The drafting of the Central Ministry Work
Plan and Budget (RKA-K / L) and Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for the
2020 Fiscal Year was held at the Hotel Santika Mega City Bekasi from October 7-10 2019. Attended by 40
participants from rehabilitation center/TS social rehabilitation site and from
the Directorate of RSTS and KPO.
