Director General of Social Rehabilitation Expects SKA to Become ATENSI Capability Development Center

MAKASSAR (April 3, 2021) - The Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs Harry Hikmat hoped that the presence of the ATENSI Creation Center (SKA) can become a skills development center for beneficiaries participating in the ATENSI program.

This was conveyed when giving directions on the Development of the ATENSI CreatIon Center which was held in the hall of "Toddopuli" Children's Center in Makassar.

The briefing was attended by the Director of RTS and KPO, representatives of the Directorate of Social Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities, the Head of "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" in Surakarta, the Head of the "Kartini" Disability Center, the Head of "Tanmiyat" Disability Center in Bekasi, the Head of "Budhi Dharma" Elderly Center in Bekasi, the Head of "Gaumabaji" Elderly Center, the Head of "Wirajaya" Disability Center, the Head of "Pangurangi" Resident Center, the Head of "Pangurangi" Center in Makassar and employees of the "Toddopuli" Children's Center in Makassar.

Harry Hikmat said SKA will encourage the development of existing potential in Centers, with the hope that it can assist Beneficiaries in developing entrepreneurship and promoting their works or preparations.

"Later on SKA will not only market their products at Centers but also for production in the local area so that their presence is very open in marketing their products. From there, we can be sure that it will have a positive impact on SKA development," he explained.

Harry Hikmat requested that all halls and workshops synergize with each other in marketing their products so that what they produce varies.

Meanwhile, the Head of "Toddopuli" Children's Center in Makassar Christiana Junus explained, if the ATENSI Creation Center will later be used as a place to market the work of the beneficiaries and the community around the center.

In SKA there are cafes and culinary centers that provide a variety of snacks, meals, and drinks sold by beneficiaries (PM) and local culinary entrepreneurs.

For this area open to the general public, hopefully, people can visit and can enjoy all the dishes and drinks that are sold, he hoped.

In addition to cafes, SKA also has grocery shops, processed businesses, and sports centers which will be opened to the public with all the workers taking advantage of the children at the "Toddopuli" Center in Makassar.

Furthermore, the Director General of Social Rehabilitation and his entourage accompanied by the Head of "Toddopuli" Children's Center saw firsthand the readiness of SKA, Harry also provided some input in the development of the SKA and saw directly the production of soy milk and fruit jam made by PM.

On the same occasion, one of the PMs gave and directly attached the bracelet made by his hand to the Director General of Social Rehabilitation.
