Director General of Social Rehabilitation Inaugurates the Psychosocial Therapy Laboratory
JAKARTA (October 16th, 2019) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Edi Suharto attended the commemoration of the National Children's Day (HAN) at the "Handayani" Rehabilitation Center for Children who Needs Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Jakarta as well as inaugurating the Psychosocial Therapy Laboratory.
HAN commemoration is held every year by "Handayani" BRSAMPK Jakarta. This year, the theme of the activity was titled "A Day with Children, Children Happy for Prosperous Indonesia".
In addition to commemorating National Children's Day, the Director General of Social Rehabilitation also inaugurated the Psychosocial Therapy Laboratory. This laboratory is a symbol, artifact, or unique feature of Progresa which consists of a therapy room with a one way mirror, a consultation room, a children's assessment room, and an observation room. With the existence of this laboratory, it is expected that the quality of social rehabilitation services for 15 clusters of Children who Needs Special Protection (AMPK) can be optimized. The laboratory is planned to be owned by seven other BRSAMPK.
On this occasion, Echelon Officials II and III were present at the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation Environment. In addition, BRSAMPK Handayani's work partners were also present, including Kanit PPA, Prosecutors, Judges, and BAPAS throughout DKI Jakarta, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FTF Task Force and Ministry Of Women Empowerment And Child Protection, C-Save, Peace Concern Foundation, LPKMI, PKTKS UI, International Plan, and Bandung Wangi.
