BATURRADEN (5 June 2020) - Entering a new normal, every institution will face new challenges. Centers now have to adapt to provide optimal rehabilitation services with different procedures and governance. This was conveyed by the Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Harry Hikmat during his visit to the Social Rehabilitation Center for Drug Abuse Victims (BRSKP) "Satria" Baturraden, Friday, June 5, 2020.

Harry explained that the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs works in a humanitarian context, so there is another dimension in terms of productivity that requires sincerity to go directly, whatever the conditions. "Everything has been rearranged, don't hesitate. Take action again for the sake of humanity. Perform services as before COVID-19. The layout has been rearranged so that next week we will start providing services to beneficiaries again," said Harry.

Activity adjustments need to be made. In addition to rehabilitation services, school-level preventive efforts are also very likely to be carried out by BRSKP Napza "Satria" in Baturraden, considering that this center has a track record of providing social services for schools. "It continues, with more material on the issue of avoiding drug addiction. The strategy is through schools. The cooperation that was initiated by renewing the MoU," continued Harry.

During this visit, Harry Hikmat also conveyed about the Program Policy of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation in 2021, including five activities at UPT which were summarized in Attention (Social Assistance); temporary shelters; case response; standardization of hall facilities; as well as increasing the capacity of partner LKS.

On this occasion, the Head of the Drugs BRSKP "Satria" Di Baturraden, Restyaningsih reported that the Center had carried out a refocusing of the COVID-19 handling budget in the form of distributing social assistance to vulnerable and marginalized community groups, especially drug clusters. Harry Hikmat appreciated it.

Before ending his visit, Harry Hikmat and his staff took the time to see the "Baturraden" Drug Information and Education Center (PIE). He gave positive comments on the existence of PIE Napza Baturraden and motivated him to continue to develop all his potential and always innovate.
