Director of Elderly Social Rehabilitation: 2030 Indonesia Gets a Demographic Bonus
GOWA (October 4th, 2019) - Director of Social Rehabilitation for the Elderly Ministry of Social Affairs, Andi Hanindito, do a visit to "Gau Mabaji" Elderly Social Rehabilitation Center (BRSLU) Gowa.
Accompanied by Syam Wuryani as Head of the Center, Andi conducted a review and saw several room renovation projects carried out by BRSLU "Gau Mabaji". On this occasion Andi gave direction to immediately prepare a place as a center for social laboratories and the elderly post.
In addition, Andi Hanindito also met with all employees of the BRSLU "Gau Mabaji" Gowa to stay in touch and convey several key issues related to changing the function of the institution into the rehabilitation center.
"rehabilitation center should also be a center for social rehabilitation services for the elderly because in 2030 Indonesia will receive a demographic bonus," Andi concluded in his remarks.
Furthermore, Andi stated that the rehabilitation center as a pilot agency must meet five main points which is administration, human resources, adequate facilities and infrastructure, activities and outreach.
It is expected, this visit will be able to equalize the perception of elderly social rehabilitation services between the Directorate of Elderly Social Rehabilitation with the association and the Elderly Social Rehabilitation Workshop.
