BANYUMAS (9 September 2020) - Located at the Banyumas District Social Service Office, the Dissemination and Trial of LAPAK SPA activities took place, namely the Online Massage Application presented by the Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Visual Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) "Wyata Guna" belonging to the Ministry of Social Affairs in Bandung. This activity is carried out to support the independence of persons with visual impairments.
This activity was opened by the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Security Protection Division, Banyumas Regency Social Service, Sutiarso who in his speech thanked the "Wyata Guna" Center for making Banyumas Regency a place for Dissemination and Testing of the LAPAK SPA Application, as an Innovation for the "Wyata Guna" Center. in improving its public services.
The LAPAK SPA application can now be downloaded on the Play Store, providing various types of massage services, especially Shiatsu Massage which is here to be a solution to improve the economy of people with visual disabilities in the midst of advancing internet technology. With this application, people with visual impairments can register as a therapist and receive orders for shiatsu massages online.
Head of the Social Assessment and Advocacy Section of BRSPDSN "Wyata Guna" Bandung, A.Heri Kusuma Wardana in his speech said that this application allows therapists to get more patients amidst economic difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although there were technical problems when downloading applications on the Play Store due to the full mobile memory, in general the trial which was attended by 13 participants went smoothly and the participants were enthusiastic.
