Dissemination of the Alert Program Method at the Kartini Integrated Center Temanggung
TEMANGGUNG (June 30, 2022) - The issuance of the Minister of Social Affairs
Regulation No. 7 of 2021 on Social Rehabilitation Assistance has implications
for a paradigm shift in MoSA's Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) service
paradigm. Integrated Centers and Centers of MoSA spread throughout Indonesia
provide services to all Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) who are
experiencing problems. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the
capacity of human resources to equalize perceptions and professional skills in
dealing with PPKS problems through family, community, and residential-based ATENSI
services as well as case response services quickly, precisely, integrated, and
completely.
Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder
characterized by deficits in communication, social interaction, and repetitive
behavior patterns. UNESCO (2011) states that there are 35 million people with
autism disabilities in the world. In Indonesia, there is no official data for
children with autism, but there are many cases of autism. This is MoSA's main
concern through Kartini Temanggung Integrated Center Services, to prepare both
human resources and infrastructure to provide services for people with autistic
disabilities.
The dissemination was held to introduce the Alert program for the ATENSI implementation team for the Kartini Temanggung Center and companions in the field. Besides, to increase service output. The dissemination participants were social workers, social instructors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, speech therapists, and caregivers at Kartini Integrated Center of Temanggung and 53 people from LKS (Social Institution) of Jombang, Wonosobo, Madiun, Pekalongan, and Temanggung. The training was held for 2 days, June 30 and July 1, 2022. The speaker of this event was Mr. Taufik Hidayat, a practitioner of the Indonesian Autism Foundation.
