Dissemination of the Integrated Government Internal Control System (SPIP) Application in 2023 within the Directorate General of Social Empowerment

BOGOR (July 28, 2023) - The Secretariat of the Directorate General of Social Empowerment held a dissemination for the integrated Government Internal Control System (SPIP) Application in 2023 within the Directorate General of Social Empowerment. The activity was held for 3 (three) days from July 26 to 28, 2023 at the Inten Soeweno Integrated Center, Cibinong, West Java.

The activity was carried out hybrid (online and offline) and attended by representatives from all units within the Directorate General of Social Empowerment to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the implementation of accountability and internal control systems within the Directorate General of Social Empowerment.

The participants received exposure from various resource persons from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) introducing New SPIP 2023 Integration with 4 (four) assessment focuses, such as effectiveness and efficiency, reliability of financial statements, safeguarding state assets, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Acting Director General of Social Empowerment who was also present hoped that all Units could deliver targets and achievements into SPIP completely and measurably so that the SPIP value of Directorate General of Social Empowerment could increase in the future.

"What is going to write down into SPIP is no longer merely descriptive or narrative, but also factual and equipped with the necessary information," he said.

Furthermore, the participants also received mentoring from the Ministry of Social Affairs SPIP Working Group from the Inspectorate General. It ended with an affirmation of commitment from all parties and the preparation of the SPIP completion period.

Present in the meeting were the Director of Community Empowerment Arif Nahari, and the Director of Vulnerable Group Empowerment Dewi Suhartini. The directors also emphasized the importance of SPIP implementation and committed to supporting the fulfillment of the Directorate General of Social Empowerment's obligation to implement SPIP in 2023.
