Distributing Various Empowerment Aids, Social Affairs Minister is Ready to Turn on Economic Corridors in Papua

To support self-reliance and revive the economy of residents in Papua, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs has provided various assistance for community empowerment.

These include empowerment assistance distributed through the GKI Tanah Papua Synod and the delivery of fiberglass boats that will be used for transportation of residents by river route from Yahukimo-Suator-Akat-Agats-Merauke with a total distance of 1000 km.

Not only handing over fiber boats, Social Affairs Minister Risma also had the opportunity to review the progress of the construction of 76 healthy houses for residents affected by the flood in Doyo Baru, East Sentani (23/03).
