BANDUNG (July 18, 2021) - The Ministry of Social
Affairs through Wyata Guna Bandung continues to distribute eggs and
ready-to-eat food to support the fulfillment of food needs for people affected
by Covid-19 during the period of the emergency Public Activity Restrictions
(PPKM).
Today's rice box menu is
rendang, stir-fried carrot meatballs, oranges, and mineral water distributed to
hospitals, Social Welfare Institutions (LKS), communities, self-isolated
residents, police, community protectors, urban villages, orphanages, koramil,
Indonesian Christian Church (GKI), the division officer with the number of eggs
distributed being 7,062, 3,531 egg packs, 2,515 rice boxes.
Lulu Ridwan Wibawa, a
member of the Distribution Team at the Public Kitchen, said that he
starts his activities from 07.00 am to 12.00 noon every day. Coordination is carried out
with the Disaster Preparedness Team (Tagana) to determine the distribution
objectives so that they can share tasks with other Distribution Team personnel.
There are 5 distribution vehicles so that every day he distributes food at
least 2 times. The distribution always involves all elements, starting from Wyata
Guna Bandung employees, Tagana members, and West Java Social Service employees.
“The joy of working
together in a team is being able to share tasks so that all distribution goals
can be achieved. Today he and his team were able to distribute to 27 places.
The addition of requests from the community has increased the distribution
target, today 2,515 rice boxes were distributed from the previous 2,000. The
coverage area includes the City and Regency of Bandung," said Lulu.
Several parties who received assistance expressed appreciation and gratitude for the hard work and assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs.
